Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, intends to acquire the following modification kits and supplies in support of the LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine by placing a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N0010400G0102 with General Electric Company, G.E. Aircraft Engines of Cincinnati, OH: Item 0001: GE Kit No. 682L284G04 "IEC Installation Kit (4 ea.), Item 0002: GE Kit No. 682L2845G06 "IEC Installation Kit for Gas Generator upgrade only" (1 ea.), Item 0003: GE Part Number L46390P03, "Hose Assembly" (2 ea.). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Howe ver, all proposals received within 15 days after date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
