The United States Army Corps of Engineers plans to award a sole source contract to Troy Belting and Supply Company located in Watervliet, NY, for emergency repairs on a hydraulic gate cylinder at the Troy Lock and Dam. The contract involves fabricating a new rod and piston, machining and repairing the existing clevis, installing new spacers, packing glands, and seals, and reassembling and pressure testing the cylinder up to 1500 psi.
