The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Petersburg located in Hopewell, Virginia, intends to issue solicitation RFQ-11411-0058, for the requirement of: Quarterly Meat Orders which will be FOB Destination. The orders will be placed by the Food Service Department. The orders will need to be delivered starting April 1, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the FCC Petersburg (Warehouse), 1100 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to award item by item, by group of items, or by aggregate, whichever is advantageous to the government. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be best overall value to the Government, in regards to price, delivery and past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about;March 12, 2010, and will be posted to the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. This site provides all downloading instructions on how to otain a copy of the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Faith-Based organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts in which they are eligible.
