Full Description

The Government (88 CONS/PKBB) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is Reynolds Inc, Middletown, OH. The items/services being procured include maintenance/repair to irrigation pump and well (if necessary) including all associated labor, parts, materials, and tools. Due to the urgent nature of this requirement and the proposed vendor's knowledge of the system, prior experience working on the system, and ability to immediately respond, only Reynolds, Inc. can fill this requirement to the Government's specifications. This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
