This RFI is being used for Market Research purposes only to seek contractors with the capability to provide the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) with the purchase of Medical Air Compressor System IAW attached draft Statement of Work. 2. STATEMENT OF WORK
NLR Med Air Procurement Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) North Little Rock, AR
Background: The Medical Air Compressor system in Building 170 is currently well beyond its expected service life. Medical air is essential for providing clean air to our veterans ventilators, anesthesia machines, and respiratory therapy equipment. Allowing this system to fail would significantly compromise our ability to deliver life-saving patient care. Scope: Contractor shall provide delivery of a new Medical Air Compressor System with the following specifications: Scroll 10 HP Triplex Base Mount Single Point Connection (SPC) 200 Gal Non Corrosive Vertical Receiver System Capacity: 69.6 SCFM @50 psig, 64.0 SCFM @100 psig 460/3/60 Main Electrical Connection Dual Desiccant Dryers with filters and regulators Dew Point Monitor CO Monitor HMI Touch Screen Display Fully NFPA 99 Code Compliant Fully compliant with the latest edition of NFPA 99 Three "oil-less" scroll air compressor modules with inlet filter, isolation valve and high inlet vacuum switch for each ASME coded corrosion resistant air receiver with bypass Duplex desiccant air dryer system with purge control and piped with duplex pre-filters, after filters and regulators Triplex control panel with HMI control monitoring system All discharge air piping and fittings - ASTM B-819 copper tubing, brass and/or stainless steel All discharge flex connectors - braided, 304 stainless steel Individual compressor isolation valve All components completely pre-piped and pre-wired to single point service connections All interconnecting piping and wiring is completed and operationally tested prior to shipment Liquid tight conduit, fittings and junction boxes for all control and power wiring
Delivery Location: Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System 2200 Fort Roots Drive, Bldg 182 North Little Rock, AR 72114
Delivery Hours: All deliveries shall be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Deliveries pertaining to this contract will need to be performed Monday through Friday unless a Federal holiday falls on one of these days. Typical hours are between 7am and 330pm. If delivery is required outside of these hours of operations, it must be coordinated with the project Contracting Officer s Representative (COR). On the days listed below delivery shall not be scheduled unless unique situations arise and prior approval between the delivery and CAVHS parties involved is agreed upon.
