Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is inviting bids for the Ginkoberry Marketplace Remodel for the Oregon Convention Center (OCC). Sealed bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and mailed or delivered to Metro, 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97232-2736, no later than the date and time indicated on the ITB cover page, and will be publicly opened and read at that time in the main lobby or courtyard off of Irving Street, weather permitting.
This project consists of a modernization remodel of the OCC’s Ginkoberry Marketplace (Ginko) front-of-house (FOH) sales area from traditional food service into a Grab & Go marketplace.
All areas of Ginko are operated by the OCC’s third-party contactor, Levy Restaurants.  OCC maintains and services the Ginkoberry Marketplace.  Both Levy and OCC are key stakeholders for this project.

Pre-Bid Meeting
A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on Wednesday July 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Oregon Convention Center.  See Attachment G for specific pre-bid meeting location within the OCC.
Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.
