Bids are due by 2:00pm on Septembe 09, 2026. PUBLIC PURCHASE IS NOT the plan room for this Project. PLEASE DO NOT POST QUESTIONS HERE. Prospective Bidders may obtain bid documents through the City’s electronic bidding portal located at Planet Bids at the link listed here https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/69575/portal-home The 2018 edition of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction and all amendments to the Standard Specification for Public Works Construction 2021 Edition (collectively the “Greenbook”) is incorporated by this reference. As more specifically described in the Contract Documents, the Project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work to construct new concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, road reconstruction, driveway reconstruction, electrical conduit and pull boxes for street lighting, traffic signals, bus shelters and street furniture, bike lanes, landscaping and irrigation system along 4th Street from C Street to Oxnard Boulevard with striping improvements continuing on 4th Street and Meta Street to the intersection of Meta Street and 6th Street. Additionally, approximately 50 bus stops will be improved throughout the downtown area. The Work includes the removal of existing curb, gutter, sidewalk and pavement, replacement and modification of traffic signals, removal and replacement of street lighting, removal and replacement of street trees and tree well grates; placement and compaction of asphalt concrete pavement; excavation and reconstruction of a portion of 4th Street; concrete works; adjust utility covers to finished grade; installation of storm drain lines and appurtenant concrete structures; and traffic striping.
