This is a pre-solicitation notice. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco SMARTnet support, and various Cisco peripherals which will be negotiated on a sole source (brand name) basis with Cisco Systems, Inc. or an authorized Gold-Certified reseller per FAR 6.302. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to GSA e-Buy on or about 7 Jan 2014 with proposals due by 15 Jan 2014. Some of the required supplies may be identified as Open Market items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This firm-fixed-price supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 8 and Subpart 13.5, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation procedures. Terms will be F.O.B. Destination via Travis AFB, Travis, CA 94535. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the GSA e-Buy website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
