Full Description

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC PACIFIC) intends toaward a Firm Fixed Price contract on a Sole Source basis to Motorola, Incorporated, U.S. Federal Markets Division. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for the existing Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) equipment, fixed, mobile and portable units, Dispatching Equipment and all associated equipment. The equipment is owned and operated under Command Navy Region Southeast Public Safety Office (CNRSE-PSO). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest and capability statements received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
