The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC LANT), in supportof the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the Program ExecutiveOffice for Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Teleport and Services (PEO-STS), intends to issue a solicitation for the design, development andproduction of the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) To Legacy Ultra HighFrequency (UHF) SATCOM Gateway Component capability. This capability willprovide the interconnect services between legacy UHF satellite systems and theMUOS thus providing the warfighter with voice and data communicationsbridging between these satellite systems supporting maritime, airborne, andground mobile tactical operations. SPAWARSYSCENT Atlantic intends to issue a full and open competitivesolicitation. A cost plus fixed fee/cost plus incentive fee and firm fixedpricetype contract is anticipated.
