Full Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting synopses and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Navy has a requirement for an estimated quantity of 184 each NTIS WRA AN/AAQ-22 D BRITE STAR BLOCK II production hardware plus associated system support including upgrades to the next level of technology improvements of the AN/AAQ-22 product lines inclusive of the AN/AAQ-22-C (STAR SAFIRE), and AN/AAQ-22D (BRITE STAR). In addition to the production quantity, repairs and provisioning item orders to support the AN/AAQ-22A (SAFIRE), AN/AAQ-22C (STAR SAFIRE), STAR SAFIRE II, III, and IV, AN/AAQ-22D (BRITE STAR) and BRITE STAR BLOCK II configurations; engineering support incidental to the NTIS WRA system; and associated technical data. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis with FLIR Systems, Inc. 27700A SW Parkway Avenue, Wilsonville, OR 97070-8213, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not own the data rights for the drawings for these WRA's. This acti! on will result in a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract with a 5-year ordering period. See Note 22 and 26. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 21 JUN 2005 on the NSWC Crane website at www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
