Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Code 7410 maintains three (3) custom designed radar systems for radar cross section (RCS) measurements of fleet combatants which use the Antenna Positioner System (APS) manufactured by Orbit Communications Systems Inc. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement with Orbit Communications Systems Inc.,City of Industry, Ca 91746., for the purchase of one (1) APS unit that will used as a direct replacement spare part to maintain RCS operational capabilities. All responsible sources submitting offers will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to the Government POC on or before 09/07/2007 and referencing RFQ N00167-07-Q-5290.
