58 -- Radio frequency coupler amplifier

This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation for the purchase of 10 each RF Coupler/Amplifiers, NSN 5996-01-319-8876EW, P/N CSA880910, applicable to the AN/ALQ-131. Basic quantity of 10, with Option 1 quantity ranging from 1 - 15, and Option 2 quantity ranging from 1 - 15. Delivery schedule for basic quantity: 5 each in December 2004; 2 each in January 2005; 2 each March 2005; 1 each in June 2005. Destination information: TBD. The approximate solicitation issue date is 15 November 2004, with the approximate response date of 15 December 2004. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Celeritek Inc., 3236 Scott Blvd., Santa Clara, CA, 95054, CAGE code 2J873, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. See Notes 22 & 26. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 30 days of the synopsis publication date.
