59--AN/BSY-2(V) PROGRAM OPERATIONS SUPPORT SERVICES

The Naval Sea Systems Command awarded Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems in Manassas, Virginia, a sole source contract on September 28, 2001, for system engineering support for the Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) program. This contract includes a base year plus four option years encompassing activities such as APB development, integration and testing, system support, and A-RCI production. The contract is to be modified to incorporate approximately four months of additional field engineering, testing, installation support, logistics coordination, engineering change kit development, technical data support, as well as operational testing and repair of the Consolidated Shore Facility specifically related to the AN/BSY-2(V) production systems. Additionally, the contract scope covers support services for the SSN21 Class Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems, which involves Ship Control, Weapons Stowage and Handling, Weapons Launch Console Module Rack Assembly, Total Ship Monitoring, and NPES Software Support Activity, amounting to an estimated total of 100,000 labor hours.
