The government, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia, plans to award a sole-source contract to The Boeing Company for a single aircraft connector spare part designated as NSN 1R-5935-LLF02N798-P8, part number BACC63CT11-35SN, intended for the P-8 aircraft. Boeing is recognized as the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source capable of providing this spare, as the government does not possess the data rights necessary to acquire this part from other suppliers. The contract, with a one-year duration, will be executed with delivery FOB origin and will adhere to FAR Part 15 procedures, incorporating Buy American clauses and UID requirements. Although the notice is not a request for competitive proposals, other responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations within 45 days of the solicitation's publication, but the government intends to negotiate exclusively with Boeing under authority granted by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
