The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) PAGE located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5110, plans to procure on a sole source basis from X-COM Systems, LLC, 12345 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA 20191 (D&B # 140391710) the following: One(1) Each Synchro Input Backplane; One(1) Each Synchro Output Backplane; One(1) Each NTDS-E Analyzer 1 Type E (Analyzer Only); Two(2) Each P6434 Probes to Interface the PIM with a TLA-5202. All items shall be NEW and not refurbished. NO substitutions are acceptable. The basis for this sole source is that X-COM Systems is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the units, which are being procured for AEGIS Combat Systems. These items will be utilized to support multiple tactical simulations for upcoming tests being conducted, and interface with other AEGIS baseline Naval Tactical Distributed Systems which are external to NSWC Dahlgren and must be compatible. The resulting order shall include all shipping and handling charges and will be delivered to the Receiving Officer, 6620 Tisdale Road, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA 22448. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. Please reference NSWC Request for Quote (RFQ) N00178-10-Q-2469.
