This market survey, solicitation number MARKET-SURVEY-0240, is issued by the Department of Defense to identify additional sources for components of the AN/ARN-149(V) Low Frequency Automatic Direction Finder. The required components include the R-2382 Receiver, C-12192 Control, C-12491 Control, and AS-4480 Antenna, which are currently sourced from Rockwell-Collins, Inc. Because the Army does not possess the detailed technical data for these units, potential suppliers must demonstrate their capability through written evidence of system knowledge, production history, and the provision of samples. Interested parties must submit documentation such as test results, previous purchase orders, or a statement from the original equipment manufacturer confirming that the supplied units are physically and functionally interchangeable in form, fit, and function. Successful suppliers are required to warrant that the items will perform satisfactorily for the Army's intended purpose. All responses must be submitted to the Commander, USACECOM at Ft. Monmouth, NJ, by the deadline of April 27, 2004.
