Pakistan Refinery Limited is seeking a qualified third-party inspection company for a one-year contract to perform periodic safety equipment inspections at the Korangi Refinery and Keamari Terminal. The scope of work involves visual inspections, functional testing, and load testing of various assets, including full-body harnesses, lanyards, fall-arrest equipment, CMC litter buckets, rescue lifting devices, and extension ladders on a biannual basis, while manual stackers are to be inspected annually. The contractor must utilize competent personnel and adhere to specific international standards, such as BS EN 361, BS EN 363:2018, NFPA 1931, and BS ISO 5766:1990, among others. Key deliverables include the provision of durable metallic identification tags for every piece of equipment detailing the ID number, test status, and expiry date, as well as the submission of hard-copy inspection certificates within one week of completion. Any equipment failing inspection must be clearly marked and reported as unfit for use. To be eligible, the contractor must hold a valid license or accreditation from a recognized national or international body. Bids will be evaluated based on compliance with requirements, personnel accreditation, reputation for quality, execution strategy, and recent experience with similar works.
