Please note that this is not a request for proposal nor a request for quote as there is no solicitation document available. Therefore, this is a notice of intent issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs to negotiate a limited source contract with Bio-Medical Devices International, Inc. IAW FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) limited sources. The VA intends to negotiate a limited source contract with Bio-Medical Devices International, Inc. The contract will be for Controlled Air Purifying Respirator (CAPR) System to be used in isolation rooms for staff who cannot wear N-95 mask at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Government will not be responsible for paying for any of the costs incurred and associated with the development of any responses submitted to this notice. Information received in response to this special notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to not compete the proposed acquisition is wholly within the discretion of the Government.
