AI Contract Overview

This contract pertains to the administration of Compensation and Pension examinations as outlined in the Request for Proposal VA-263-07-RP-0159. The document clarifies that the examinations are divided into "Initial Examinations" and "Review Examinations," both defined in the Statement of Work. Psychologists conducting these exams are responsible for dictating reports using templates provided by the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), though some flexibility in formatting is allowed. Multiple appointments may be scheduled on the same day to optimize efficiency. Online testing requirements for contractors are supported through resources on the CPEP website, which also provides access to the examination templates and related worksheets. Contractors performing these services must hold a Ph.D. and have completed an approved APA internship within an APA doctoral program; the contract explicitly excludes those license holders who rely solely on grandfathering provisions such as those in Minnesota law. The contract also specifies logistical details, such as how MMPI testing is coordinated—technicians set up the testing and provide results to the provider—while the length and volume of records reviewed will vary case by case. Reporting templates may range in length depending on the depth of information required, and all materials necessary for performance are accessible through designated online resources.
