Full Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System comprising of the Nashville Campus and the Alvin C. York Campus; James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mtn Home, TN; VA Medical Center, Louisville and Lexington, KY; and VA Medical Center, Huntington, WV; intends to negotiate a Sole Source contract under the authority of with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 c (5)and 38 U.S.C. 8123 as implemented by FAR 6.302 with the Korrect Optical, 3801 Bishop Lane, Louisville, KY 40218-2905. The contract will be for providing eyeglasses directly to veterans or delivered to the individual VAMC. NAICS Code 339115. A contract for the period 04-01-2012 through 7-01-12 is anticipated. Interested parties have until March 29, 2012, 2:00 pm CST to submit in writing their qualifications/capabilities. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
