MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office, Tacoma, Washington, intends to award a firm fixed price contract to; Philips Medical System, NA, in the amount of $33,027.77. for purchase of a Collimator required for an urgent repair of a Philips Bucky TH2 Diagnostic System at Weed Army Community Hospital, FT Irwin, CA in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1. The part for the above system is under proprietary rights by the manufacturer Philips Medical System, NA, is the only authorized company to provide replacement parts. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, information received within forty-five days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
