Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia, is seeking to acquire two complete Dental Digital Radiographic Units that comply with the specific technical requirements set by the Medical Command (MEDCOM). The government plans to award this procurement as a sole source contract to Planmeca U.S.A., Inc., a recognized small business that has already supplied and installed over 165 Planmeca PROMAC digital radiographic machines in dental clinics managed by DENCOM D-DINPACS PM since fiscal year 2005. These units have been standardized across clinics to ensure uniform user interfaces, consistent medical maintenance protocols, and advanced diagnostic capabilities comparable to other vendors. A notable feature of the Planmeca devices is their ability to operate without mandatory cool-down periods between patients or image exposures, enhancing clinical efficiency. While this acquisition is not a formal request for proposal, other companies that offer products meeting or exceeding the specified technical criteria are encouraged to submit detailed technical specifications, pricing, delivery timelines, and past performance data. This information will be reviewed by government technical representatives for consideration in future procurement opportunities. The contract, identified by solicitation number W91YTV10P0000, aligns with NAICS code 334517 and reflects the government's intent to strengthen its dental imaging capabilities by leveraging proven technology and supporting small business participation.

6525--SEP 2026 Equipment Only Consolidation
Solicitation # 36A79727Q0002
Solicitation 36A79727Q0002 is a HUBZone Small Business set-aside issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center for the September 2026 Equipment Only Consolidation. This procurement focuses on High Tech Medical Equipment (HTME), specifically targeting various imaging systems such as XR RAD, XR US, XR CT, and XR MRI for delivery to multiple VA VISN networks and stations. Competition is strictly limited to current contract holders with the VA National Acquisition Center or the Defense Logistics Agency, Troop Support. The government will award based on best value, where non-price factors—specifically the availability of required features and the availability of service—are considered significantly more important than price. Technical evaluations will assess how well equipment meets functional requirements and the vendor's ability to provide local and virtual technical support, repair parts, and documentation. Vendors must provide individual product pricing, as bottom-line prices will be rejected, and must treat upgrade requests as forklift upgrades with separate trade-in values. Submissions must be uploaded as a single ZIP file to Box, following strict naming conventions and folder structures, and must be accompanied by a timestamped email to the Contracting Officer. Required documentation includes a completed pre-procurement assessment questionnaire for network-connected devices. Additionally, the contract specifies that while applications training is awarded with equipment, off-site training is excluded from delivery orders and must be handled as separate modifications.
