The Great Lakes Acquisition Center plans to enter into a sole source delivery order contract with ScriptPro USA, Inc. for the provision and installation of medication supply packaging and dispensing equipment at the James A. ScriptPro USA is identified as the exclusive distributor of the specific ScriptPro medication dispensing equipment in use at the facility, and they are the only vendor capable of supplying replacement dispensers compatible with the current system. This procurement follows the Federal Acquisition Regulation that allows for sole source contracting when only one responsible source can meet the agency’s requirements. The contract will be firm fixed price and delivered F.O.B. Destination. The notice clarifies that no competitive quotes are being solicited, and no solicitation documents are available; telephone inquiries will not be accepted. However, interested firms believing they can meet the requirements may submit written notifications by a specified deadline, July 20th, 2016, providing sufficient evidence of their capability. These responses will be evaluated, but the Government reserves the discretion to proceed with the sole source negotiation with ScriptPro USA if no suitable responses are received.
