6505--RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS FOR ROBERT J. DOLE VAMC, WICHITA, KS FIVE YEAR IDIQ

The contract is a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement for the provision of radiopharmaceuticals and associated services to the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, with performance periods spanning from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2031, in five sequential twelve-month ordering periods. The contractor is required to supply a defined list of radiopharmaceuticals including Technetium-99m generators, sodium pertechnetate, sestamibi, tetrofosmin, and others, all calibrated to 0600 Central Time and compliant with USP, FDA, and NRC standards for purity, activity, and shelf life. Delivery is F.O.B. destination at the VAMC Nuclear Medicine Department, with emergency orders requiring delivery within one hour of confirmation. Packaging, marking, and labeling must adhere to MIL-STD-129 and DOT regulations, including barcoding with 2D Data Matrix symbols and inclusion of product identifiers, calibration and expiration times, lot numbers, and patient information where applicable. All radioactive materials must be handled and transported under strict regulatory compliance with NRC, DOT, FDA, HIPAA, and state pharmacy laws. The contractor must maintain active federal and state licenses, including NRC or Agreement State authorization, FDA registration, and DOT certifications, and must submit personnel credentials for radioactive handling, HIPAA compliance, and facility safety training. Personnel must satisfy VA access and security protocols, including badge requirements and escort rules.
