This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 VHA Regional Procurement Office-West (RPOW) 5441 Babcock Road Medical Center. 302 San Antonio TX 78240 for the procurement of for Ophthalmology department Lensometer. 
Background and Requirement: Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Olin E. Teague Medical Center located at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504 .This will be used to accurately measure the dioptric power, axis, cylinder, and prism of prescription lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses. It serves to verify that lenses match the doctor's prescription, locate optical centers, and mark lenses for proper fitting. These technologies are essential for guiding treatments and ensuring accurate diagnoses in eye care Ophthalmology department Service requires twenty-three (23) Lensometers this equipment is used to accurately measure the dioptric power, axis, cylinder, and prism of prescription lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses.
It serves to verify that lenses match the doctor's prescription, locate optical centers, and mark lenses for proper fitting. These technologies are essential for guiding treatments and ensuring accurate diagnoses in eye care.
