Contract 36C24826P0449 is a one-time emergency procurement awarded on February 13, 2026, to Philips North America LLC in the amount of $23,399.20. The contract provides for the acquisition of FDA-approved original equipment manufacturer parts and supplies necessary to repair Philips EPIQ CVX ultrasound equipment at the Bay Pines VAHCS SMART Pool. The procurement is mission-critical, as the use of non-OEM parts or improper calibration could lead to patient harm or misdiagnosis, potentially resulting in the cancellation of procedures or costly external referrals. All delivered parts must strictly adhere to manufacturer specifications and include a valid part warranty. The contract is managed by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8, with performance and delivery located at the Bay Pines facility in Florida.
