The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its VISN 02 Network Contracting Office, is seeking information from potential suppliers capable of providing a flexible inspection scope and associated accessories for use in sterilization and high-level disinfection processes at the Brooklyn Campus. This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation, and responses are strictly for market research and acquisition planning purposes. The required equipment includes a USB-controlled flexible borescope with a 1.9mm catheter and additional components such as a mounting clamp, Endodolly for storage and transport, a mobile inspection cart, clear tubing, a VESA adapter plate, a storage tray, a 1.06mm catheter, and a mounting tablet—all designed to enable detailed visual inspection of lumened instruments to ensure absence of bioburden prior to sterilization. The system must support high-quality photo and video capture via Scope Viewer Software compatible with Windows 11, with images stored on VA-managed computers. The notice emphasizes a preference for domestically manufactured products and requires detailed information on business size, ownership status, manufacturing or distribution role, subcontracting plans, federal contract holdings, and product origin. Respondents must provide comprehensive details on their ability to meet or exceed the technical specifications listed, including clear evidence that their offerings are equivalent or superior to the items described. Responses must include company name, address, point of contact, SAM.gov Unique Entity ID, size certification under NAICS code 339113 (800-employee standard), and pricing information for market analysis, though pricing will not influence any future award. The VA is particularly interested in identifying small businesses, including SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, or HUBZone certified firms, and requires disclosure of whether the responder is the manufacturer, distributor, or reseller, and if modifications or assemblies are performed. All submissions must be emailed to Wilmen.Joa@va.gov no later than July 30, 2026, at 11 AM EST. No telephone responses are accepted, and responses to this notice do not constitute eligibility for future solicitations, which will be issued separately if the agency proceeds with procurement.
