INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) intends to award a sole source basis contract to Omnicell Inc, for the Salem VA Health Care System, located in Salem VA. The proposed contract action is for Omnicell Pharmacy Carousel Medication Dispense System, deinstallation and Installation, The facility currently utilizes the Omnicell Pharmacy Carousel Medication Dispense System and is requesting a replacement due to the current system is coming to its End of Life Cycle . Due to the proprietary nature of the technology and the need for compatibility with existing systems, only Omnicell-branded products and services can meet the Government s technical and operational requirements. This award will go directly to Omnicell Inc. As a Sole Source purchase, quotes are not being requested.
