AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying and installing 28 to 29 Natus NeuroWorks EEG workstations across three VA Boston Healthcare System campuses: Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, and Brockton. These systems are needed to replace aging equipment from 2019 that is incompatible with current software environments, specifically NeuroWorks version 9.3.1 build 3091 running on Windows 10. The requirement includes a mix of small-form-factor desktops and portable laptops, all equipped with encrypted hard drives and without the MS Word Report Editor. A total of 29 Windows 10 Enterprise licenses and six StarTech PCIe Gigabit NICs are also required to ensure full system compatibility with existing Natus servers and the VA National TeleEEG Program. Installation must occur during standard business hours at all three locations, and full integration with current hardware and software configurations is mandatory. Natus NeuroWorks is proprietary software available only through Natus Medical Inc., and all equipment must maintain strict compatibility with existing infrastructure. Vendors responding to this sources-sought notice are not being asked to submit quotes but must provide detailed capability information, including their business name, SAM UEI, and socio-economic status, particularly targeting Small Business, SDVOSB, and VOSB concerns. They must confirm the domestic or non-domestic origin of all equipment and components and demonstrate compliance with applicable trade and country-of-origin requirements. Submission must include a capability statement, evidence of experience supplying Natus-compatible systems, OEM authorization if applicable, and a technical capability narrative outlining their ability to meet the stated specifications. Responses must be submitted electronically by June 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time to Dewan Britton, Contract Specialist, at Dewan.Britton@va.gov. This notice is strictly for market research purposes, with no solicitation intent, and does not include contract clauses, evaluation factors, or pricing information.
