The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify capable vendors, including small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, who can provide and install updated Natus NeuroWorks EEG workstations for the VA Boston Healthcare System. The contract involves replacing end-of-life EEG systems across three campuses—Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, and Brockton—with approximately 28 to 29 units consisting of desktops and laptops compatible with NeuroWorks version 9.3.1 on Windows 10. These systems must feature encrypted hard drives, exclude the MS Word Report Editor, and be fully integrated with existing VA Natus servers and the national TeleEEG program to ensure continuity of neurological diagnostic services and telemedicine capabilities. Vendors interested in responding must demonstrate their capability to supply hardware that meets the specified technical requirements, compatibility with proprietary Natus software, and compliance with applicable trade and country of origin regulations. The solicitation emphasizes the need for seamless integration with VA infrastructure and the proprietary nature of the software licensing. Responses are to include business and socio-economic status information, capability statements, technical narratives, and any necessary OEM authorization. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation; quotes are not requested at this stage. Installation services are to be conducted during standard business hours at all three listed VA medical centers. The deadline for vendor capability submissions is mid-June 2026.
