This Special Notice supplements the Pre-Solicitation Notice and includes the attachments not posted with the Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Research & VMU Project in Palo Alto, CA needs a contract for the procurement of one (1) OrthoScan Mobile Diagnostic Unit (or equal) with accessories and software as part of the initial outfitting of the newly constructed Research & VMU Project in Palo Alto, CA. This notice serves as the synopsis of the contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102(a)(6), FAR 5.201, FAR 13.105, and FAR 13.106-1(b). The solicitation will be issued as an oral Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) concerns conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(c)(1). Please find attached the final Statement of Work (SOW), the Price Schedule for Completion, the Delivery Schedule, and the Shipping Instructions.
