The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis a Micro Laser system made up of various components. This requirement is sole sourced to: Micro Laser Systems, Inc., 12841 Western Ave. Suite H, Garden Grove, CA 92841 as they are the sole owner of the micro laser system that has unique features required by the government including; discrete wavelengths which cover a wide range from 405 nm to 1653 nm; the system comes standard equipped with Singlemode Fiber Coupled; and the Micro Laser System will have the very compact built-in capability of the laser diode system which will allow us to use this high modulation rate of much more than 100 MHz frequency. Any firms believing that they can provide the laser system from Micro Laser Systems may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than the date posted on this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the product and without causing programmatic hardship.
