The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Network Contracting Office 10, has issued a contract for the procurement of a Piccolo Express Analyzer with a five-year extended warranty, along with associated test panels and quality control materials, to serve as a backup chemistry analyzer for the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit at the Fort Wayne VA Medical Center in Marion, Indiana. The equipment must meet strict technical specifications, including the ability to test for magnesium, phosphorus, basic metabolic panel, and liver panel, be compatible with VA systems such as CPRS/VISTA and Oracle Health, interface with RALS, Unipoc, or Instrument Manager, and comply with VA cybersecurity and security protocols.
