Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement with PRC-Desoto International, 24811 Avenue Rockefeller, Valencia, CA 91355-3468 for the purchase of two (2) each 57 gallon kits of the two-part polymer RW2577-82. The RW2577-82 is proprietary formulated two-part polymer of PRC-Desoto International who is the manufacturer and sole distributor. The RW2577-82 formulation was specifically selected for its unique physical properties and by satisfying special design requirements of the Navy after extensive tests and evaluation. Award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however all responsible sources submitting a capabilities statement, proposal, or quotation within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
