The contract involves a firm-fixed price agreement between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a contractor, primarily Sanofi, for the storage and rotation of pediatric vaccines designated for a national stockpile. The vaccines are procured under separate supply contracts or delivery orders, and the contractor is responsible for storing these vaccines at their own domestic facilities. Storage must be at contractor-controlled sites, with vaccines kept in filled, labeled, and ready-to-use containers. The contract allows for additional vaccine quantities to be added through modifications, ensuring ongoing maintenance of the stockpile. The contractor is required to inform the CDC of the specific locations where the vaccines are stored. Delivery of the stockpiled vaccines will occur as needed according to contract stipulations. All interested and responsible sources may respond to the Request for Proposals (RFP), with communication strictly through email to designated CDC contacts to address questions or clarifications. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, and prospective bidders are responsible for monitoring updates on the official government contracting website. The contract is governed by FAR Part 15 regulations and falls under the NAICS code 493120, which relates to warehousing and storage services.
