Full Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to modify an existing contract for the TDA-99M, Joint Service Mask Leakage Tester issued to Air Techniques International (ATI), 11403 Cronridge Drive, Ownings Mills, MD 21117-2247. The modification will include other products and services for technical support, training, test system support packages and system support packages. The remainder of the modification is for (30 systems) upgrades and an additional 19 systems to support additional testing requirements. The scope of the upgrades will include upgraded parts for temperature, high altitude, EMI and reliability. ATI has been identified as the only source available that is capable of incorporating three required functions/capabilities into one-man portable unit. These functions are 1) determining serviceability of the protective mask 2) identifying faulty components and 3) performing quantitative fit factor testing to determine proper fit of the mask. The Government has made the determination that ATI possesses the sole and unique knowledge and expertise necessary to accomplish this work. All interested firms that are interested in submitting their qualifications may do so no later than fifteen calendar days from the date of this announcement. See Note 22.
