This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for proxy server prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Program supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement cons titutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 443120. Small Business Size Standard is $8.0. This announcement serves as the RFQ for proxy server for use in the Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. CLIN items are as follows: CLIN 0001: Three (3) each, Proxy Servers, Blue Coat SG510-C needed by 12 October 2007. CLIN 0002: Platinum Service, SG510-C one (1) year, three each needed by 12 October 200 7. CLIN 0003: SSL License and card SG510-C, three (3) each needed 12 October 2007. CLIN 0004: 600 each, Software, Blue Coat WebFilter, 5000-999, needed by 12 October 2007. CLIN 0005: 600 each, Service, Blue Coat WebFilter, 500-999 Users, one (1) year, n eeded by 12 October 2007. The federal Government is exempt from paying state and local taxes. If required, SF 1094 or other evidence (see FAR subpart 29.305, State and local tax exemptions) will be provided. Award will be based on all or none. However, th e Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is in the Governments best interest. The basis for award is technically acceptable lowest offer. Each response received will be used at the sole discretion of the Government to determine if it m eets the business requirements; however only quotes received by the date outlined in this solicitation will be considered. Payment shall be based on usage only.
