70 -- Infrared Camera

P CLASS The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Sensors Unlimited, Goodrich Corporation, 3490 US Route 1, Bldg 12, Princeton NJ 08540-5914 for the purchase of two infrared cameras. First camera is a 640x512 pixel, 25 micron pitch InGaAs camera with RS170 analog and camera link 14-bit digital output, 8 preset exposure settings with ability to toggle on/off corrections at each setting, trigger, and FD-mount. The second camera includes 320x256 matrix on 25 um pitch image sensor, simultaneous RS-170 analog and RS-422 digital outputs, corrected imagery on 8 preset exposure settings, 25 mm glass lens, and SUI Image Analysis software. These cameras have been identified as the only models which will meet the AOptix free space optical communications development system performance and interface specifications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 334413. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
