SECTION A This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W91WAW-08-R-DODI is applicable and is issued as a request for proposals. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. The Installation Contracting Command, Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), Pentagon, on behalf of Office of Inspector General, DoD, intends to procure one year product support and update subscription service for Oracle software. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The anticipated award date is 5 September 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal(s), which will be considered.
