70--Purchase of GenSZAI software

The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Operations Office seeks to procure GenSZAI software for continuous monitoring and analysis of network airtime usage, traffic loading, real-time traffic, and diagnostic message reports in support of the Inter-department Radio Advisory Committee. GenSZAI is a specialized air traffic information access logging and management software uniquely designed for a Windows NT environment, featuring a fully graphical user interface, integration with Microsoft SQL databases, and capabilities for real-time reporting and network activity visualization across a LAN. Due to its distinct technical specifications and compatibility, GenSZAI is deemed the only software solution that meets the agency’s requirements. The contract will be awarded as a sole source to The Genesis Group in Tyler, Texas, bypassing competitive solicitation under the authority of FAR Part 6.301-2, which allows for negotiation with a single responsible source when no alternatives meet the agency’s needs. This notice serves as a presolicitation announcement indicating intent to enter into negotiations solely with The Genesis Group for the acquisition of this software, emphasizing that the agency will not entertain competitive proposals for this requirement.
