The Washington Army National Guard (WAANG) at Camp Murray, WA, plans to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for two cubicled workstations designed to interlock with and match six existing Unicor cubicle workstations. This procurement will be awarded without full and open competition, with the contract going directly to Office Furniture Group (Unicor). The decision to limit competition was based on the finding that only one responsible source could meet the agency’s specific requirements. The contract, identified under solicitation number F9X3CF5125AQ01, relates to office furniture classified under NAICS code 337211 and is managed by the Department of Defense at the Uspfo Activity WAANG office. Questions regarding the contract are to be submitted in writing to Crystina Smith via email. The award supports the continuation and uniformity of workspace furnishings at a Department of Defense facility and reflects a sole-source procurement justified by the unique compatibility needs of existing equipment.
