71--NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - SPECIALIZED OFFICE FURNITURE

ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.5 to ZONKERS CUSTOM WOODS, INC., 1717 South 3rd Street, Omaha, NE 68108. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures --- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Zonkers Custom Woods, Inc. is the only known source capable of meeting the Governments requirements for this premium grade custom office suite. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than Thursday, 11 March 11:00 A.M., CST. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely of determing whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
