Sentinel Peak Resources California LLC is undertaking a project to rework well TVIC 269, located within the Inglewood oil field in Los Angeles County. The scope of work involves remediating a damaged casing through the installation and cementing of a 5 1/2 inch inner casing, the installation of a remedial inner liner, and the addition of perforations within an existing zone. This project is classified as a repair or minor alteration of existing facilities and will not increase production or require the construction of new permanent facilities or the expansion of associated facilities. All activities will be conducted on an existing pad to ensure no undisturbed areas are affected. The project requires the use of temporary equipment, including a workover rig, wireline unit, pumps, water trucks, and transport vehicles. All waste materials will be disposed of at licensed facilities according to their hazardous or non-hazardous classification. Administratively, the project is managed by the California Department of Conservation's Geologic Energy Management Division and has been granted a categorical exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act under Class 1, 2, and 4 exemptions. Additionally, the project must comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements mandated by SB 1137, as the site is located within a Health Protection Zone.
