Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Phillips 66 Company to perform geotechnical borings, perform Aerially Deposited Lead (ADL) surveying, and perform associated temporary traffic control activities on State Route (SR) 110, at postmile 2.58 at W Harry Bridges Boulevard / John S Gibson Boulevard, located in the City of Los Angeles (Wilmington), County of Los Angeles. Geotechnical borings will be advanced to a maximum depth of 120 feet bgs using mud rotary or hollow stem auger drill rigs. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 1,440 inches, an average width of 4 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
