Full Description

Special Notice to award a sole source contract to Canon U.S.A., Inc., Attn: IFS Order Processing, 2110 Washington Blvd., Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22204-5799. It is anticipated a sole-source award will be made for the purchase of the following items: Canon DR-3060 220V scanners (10 ea); Adaptec AMA-2940AU with driver (10 ea); 6 Ft. SCSI Cable (10 ea). 110V to 220V converters/transformers are not acceptable. The anticipated award will also include the shipment of items, and freight costs. Items are to be shipped, scanner, 2940AU w/driver, and cable together to the following sites: DRMO Bitburg, Building 1093, 54634 Bitgurg, Germany (1 ea); DRMS-I, AUGUSTASTR 6, 65189 WIESBADEN, Germany (1 ea); DRMO Grafenwoehr, Building 4051, 92655 Grafenwoehr-Lager, Germany (1 ea.); DRMO Incirlik, c/o DRMSI Wiesbaden, AUGUSTASTR 6, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany (1 ea); DRMO Kaiserslautern, Postfach 2268, 67610 Kaiserslautern, Germany (2 ea); DRMO Kastel, GEB 4013, Ludwig Wolker Str, 55252 Mainz-Kastel, Germany (1 ea); DRMO Livorno, Casella Postale 64, 57017 Stagno (Livorno), Italy (1 ea); DRMO Schweinfurt, Conn Barracks Bldg. 94, Custer Road, 97464 Schweinfurt, Germany (1 ea); DRMO Sigonella, U.S. Naval Air Station, 95100 Catania (Siginella), SICILY (1 ea). Items must be shipped directly to addresses listed. The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) anticipates awarding a contract to Canon U.S.A, Inc. under Far Part 6.302-1 (only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements). It is anticipated this will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other firms who can provide the specified items and support, please provide a name, address and other pertinent point of contact information on or before NOON Eastern Time Wednesday, September 29, 2003. If no responses are received by the above date and time, a sole-source contract with Canon U.S.A, Inc. will be pursued.
