The Government plans to award a sole source purchase order to Brodart Company/McNaughton Book Service for the lease of adult, child, and audio books to support the 55th Services Squadron's mission requirements for operating the base library at Offutt Air Force Base. This procurement will be made without full and open competition under the authority of Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) because Brodart is the only responsible source capable of meeting the agency’s specific needs. The notice emphasizes that this is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, as the determination was made that no other suppliers can satisfy the requirements. The contracting office seeks to complete the lease arrangement promptly to ensure continued mission support. For any inquiries, point of contact details are provided for the contract specialist and contracting officer associated with this procurement action.
