Sole Source Synopsis for publishing post guide for White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The government intends to award a sole source contract to Marcoa Publishing Incorporated, 9955 Blackmountain Road, San Diego, CA 82128 for a no-cost printing and publishing of a Civilian Enterprise Publication for the Command Guide to include detached maps and CD copies of the guide. Advertising rights and authorizations will be provided to the contractor in lieu of payment; the Guide shall be printed at no cost to the Government. The Government will provide all editorial material estimated between 40-50 pages, magazine size (approximately 10 3/4 inches long by 8 1/4 inches wide). The government anticipates a minimum of 6,500 with a maximum of 13,000 copies of the guide per year; a maximum of 2,000 with a maximum of 3,000 copies of the guide on a CD in PDF format per year; and a minimum of 20,000 with a maximum of 30,000 maps per year. The basic period of performance is anticipated to be from 01 December 2010 through 30 November 2011 with four option periods from 01 Dec 2011 through 30 November 2015. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The awarded contract will be a no-cost type contract. This action is solicited using Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 323117 with a size standard of 500 employees.
