7A--Commercial Navigation and Post-Processing Software

The U.S. Geological Survey, under the Department of the Interior, is conducting a market survey to identify qualified small businesses capable of providing commercial navigation and post-processing software compatible with the Ping 3DSS sonar system. This sources-sought notice, identified by solicitation number 140G0226Q0072 and posted on June 23, 2026, is not a solicitation and does not obligate the government to award a contract. It must generate QA/QC reports aligned with hydroacoustic standards and operate securely in offline environments without cloud dependency. Deliverables will include data export in formats such as SBET, RXP, and ASCII, and the software must integrate natively with the Ping 3DSS sonar. The place of performance is Denver, Colorado, but no contract value, period of performance, delivery schedule, or payment terms are specified at this stage, as this notice is solely for market research purposes. No formal contract clauses, evaluation factors, inspection criteria, or packaging requirements are included, and all costs associated with responding are borne by the respondent.
