NAICS: 236220 Size Standard: $33.5 M This synopsis is for a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for General Construction or Design Build type task orders. Task Orders issued under this SATOC are anticipated to be located primarily in Georgia; however work may also be performed at other Federal Facilities located within the geographic boundaries of the US Army Corps of Engineers South Atlantic Division (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi). This acquisition is being offered as an 8(a) Small Business set-aside. The life of the contract is for a period of five (5) years to include a three (3) year base and two option years with a total contract capacity of $95M. The Government will award one contract to the responsible Offeror with the technical and price proposal that offers the best value to the Government. The subsequent Contract will result in a SATOC award with a ceiling of $95,000,000.00 with a $2,500.00 guaranteed minimum for the base ordering period. The ordering limitation for task orders shall range from $500K to $5M. Task orders issued under this SATOC will be firm-fixed price. Task orders issued in accordance with this SATOC may also include options. Description of Work (SATOC): Task Orders issued under this Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) type, Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) may include, but is not limited to, new construction, rehabilitation, maintenance or repair of situations relating, but not limited to, site work, mechanical systems, plumbing, utility systems, structural, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, security and safety areas of Government facilities in a cost effective manner. Work requiring the use of civil funds is not allowed. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is anticipated to be available approximately 5 October 2012.
