Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to extend the current contract with Bentley Technologies Inc. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm believes it can fulfill the requirement, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate that information accordingly. All responses to this announcement must be directed to William Keller, Contracting Officer by 10:00 A.M., Eastern Time, January 21, 2007. The FAA intends to award a contract to the Bentley Technologies Incorporated via a single source authorization via the Army Corp's Bentley BPA for Select Services for the FAA's entire Bentley Product line as listed or as replaced by the Bentley for the various sites listed above. The Select Agreement shall be provided IAW the terms of the GSA Schedule, GS35F0453L. The Select Subscription offers software updates, hotline support and online technical support as described at URL http://selectservices.bentley.com/select/select_overview.htm for all of the products noted and are provided by the Bentley Corporation as a sole source. All of the software listed is proprietary to the Bentley Corporation. All interested parties are advised the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred associated with any response to this Market Survey announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with this Market Survey submission will be solely at the interested party's expense.
